BANIDES 5030 Polyethylene valve.

Network solution before gas meter.

Application.

The BANIDES 5030 PE valve has been designed for underground gas and water installations and must be assembled by electrofusion. It conveys gas or water at a maximum permissible pressure and temperature or controls the network’s flow rate in which it is installed.

PE decompression valve

The PE decompression valve is a BANIDES 5030 1/4 turn clockwise closing valve with bleed tappings enables to :

 

  • Work onto the network under pressure ;

  • Bleed the network when making branch connections or repairing it ;

  • Measure the pressure to detect possible variations, overuse, underuse of the network or possible leakage ;

  • Inject Gas when needed.

​​3 versions are available :  with 2 fully equipped bleed connections, with 1 fully equipped bleed connection or with non-equipped bleed connections (1 or 2).

PE tapping ball valve.

1/4 turn tapping ball valve equipped with an electro-fusion side tapping saddle enables to :

          

  • Make a safe and quick diversion without interrupting the gas supply;

  • Simplify the drilling process on an existing PE network under pressure ;

  • Ensure reliable installation : the valve and the saddle are assembled in the plant ;

  • Save money during installation on the network: the compactness of this product minimizes the cost of site work.

          

The BANIDES 5030 PE valve is always equipped with a coupling collar and may be either :

Locked in the open position using a cap that fits the coupling collar ;

Or used as a shut-off valve equipped with usual accessories (square operating head, baseplate, coupling collar, operating extension, etc.).

PE network end connection.

This kind of purge valve is designed for purging PE gas networks with a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar (145 psi) during commissioning.
 

It is usually installed at each end of a gas network and a shut off device of the valve permits the isolation of the inlet of the purging system from its outlet. 
 

The operating square head may be locked in the open position using a special cap (supplied) on the coupling collar.
 

The PE network end connection provides the facility :
• To safety purge the network before putting it under gas pressure;
• For gas flaring when commissioning the network.
