BD CONNECT experience.
The BD CONNECT® PLT Kit enables gas installations without welding or brazing downstream of the main switchgear. It is a tight metal pipe system once assembled.
The corrugated stainless steel BD CONNECT® with a yellow anti-corrosion protection pipe in polyethylene is manually foldable.
The BD CONNECT® PLT Kit is available in rolls from 30 to 90 meters, for an operating pressure up to 500 mbar.

Assembly steps
Kit PLT BD CONNECT .
Step 1
Determine the required length then cut the pipe PLT BD CONNECT
through the sheath using the pipe cutter.
The cutting plane is located in wave troughs.
2nd step
Strip the first 6 waves using a safety knife.
It is essential to respect the number of 6 waves to be stripped
Step 3
Insert the pipe
PLT BD CONNECT
into the fitting up to the stop.
Push the pipe in until the stripped stainless steel part has completely disappeared
Step 4
Remove the safety ring (yellow) from the fitting
PLT BD CONNECT .
Step 5
Once the above operations have been completed, tighten the nut by hand, then finish with wrenches.
The nuts are tightened to the stop (zero play), the body of the fitting must remain fixed.
Step 6
The protective coating removed during the implementation or assembly of the connections of the PLT BD CONNECT kit must be reconstituted by the use of adhesive strips.
